Swimming

Swimming is the physical activity of man and other animals that is to move in liquid medium. The swim was originally a means of survival of the man, who once primitive needed escape from larger animals or hunt for their food between rivers and lakes. Currently the swimming, in its various forms, can be seen as a method of recreation and a sport (sport), being used to save people from drowning. There is also the swim associated with work, such as collectors of pearls, some types of fishermen and scientists who investigate the aquatic fauna and flora. Several animals have the ability to swim by instinct, as in the case of man. In mammals, this swim by instinct receives the name of "Nado Standard mammal." This type of swimming has basic principles as head off water, arms (feet before) with angulation close to 90 degrees and legs (feet higher) in slight flexion (performing a movement like pedaling). The swim pattern, in Brazil, is popularly called the "swim cachorrinho." Why move virtually all the muscles and joints of the body, the practice of swimming is considered one of the best existing physical exercises
